As a burgeoning small business, we consider ourselves fortunate to be surrounded by a talented network of local makers and suppliers. Their contributions have been invaluable in bringing Mother Me to life and aligning with our mission to nurture and support women sustainably.
Methods + shipping

We are conscious of incorporating green cleaning practices, which is why we always use eco-friendly products to clean our workspaces and to sanitise our hire equipment between uses. We are mindful about water usage and always ensure that we comply with local regulations and restrictions.

We are committed to keeping toxic chemicals/ materials out of landfills, which is why we responsibly dispose of our used batteries through our local battery recycling scheme.
​
Where possible we aim to reuse, recycle, or compost our supplier's packaging to ensure we adhere to our own sustainability values.

Australia Post is our preferred shipping and parcel delivery partner. Their dedication to carbon offsetting and carbon-neutral delivery aligns seamlessly with our commitment to sustainable practices, reflecting a shared ethos.
Materials + Packaging

Our white mailing boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard. Once they reach their new destination they can be reused or recycled, continuing our commitment to a circular economy.
​
Our eco-mailers are Australian-certified home compostable and biodegradable. They are 100% plant-based/vegan-friendly. There will be zero plastics or residues left behind!
​
Our Mother Me product and food packaging is either reusable, recyclable, or biodegradable.
​
Our beautiful calico gift bags are made from 100% cotton. They are intended to be reused, recycled, or re-gifted.
​
Our Mother Me logo is printed onto our packaging using a soy-based, eco-friendly stamp. This soy-based ink is made from, you guessed it, soybeans. An alternative to the traditional petroleum-based ink, this baby is kind to the earth and humankind.
​
Our 'Thank You' cards are consciously printed onto 100% recycled paper cards, and we just adore that.
​
Our packing filler/ padding is honeycomb wrap, which is made from Kraft paper. It is 100% compostable or recyclable. A contemporary alternative to plastic bubble wrap!
​
Our tissue paper is eco-friendly and 100% recyclable.
​
Our packing eco-tape is crafted from a natural rubber adhesive, making it a bio-based film. It is fully home compostable, giving even your worms a reason to get excited!
